Week 5 Reflection

What: This week I have been banned from the computers for doing what I shouldn't have. Room 15 went to see the Mayor and Jack Bullock at the Wanganui city council. This week we had running practise once only though because we finish on the day we do running... THURSDAY!

So What: We learnt about cultures in different parts of history. Triangles maths group learnt that you can use addition in fractions. We all liked learning about different rolls of being Mayor of Wanganui.

Now What. I kind of conquered finishing my work so my next is to...... LISTEN TO THE TEACHER AT ALL TIMES!!!!! I want to have a game of tackle seaweed.

Week 2 Reflection

What: On Thursday and Tuesday the whole senior school went for a cross country practise to get ready for the actual race. We had John in from China as you can see from my older post: 'John Visiting Us'. We all had a fabulous week and are going to have a mystery reader this afternoon.

So What: For I.T we learnt about how to make a link list of all the Carlton class blogs. In maths I started in a new maths group: Triangles. We learnt a lot this week and we are ready to do it again.
Now What: My goal next week is to always do my homework because I got a homework detention. I want to be in P.E.

Week 10 Reflection

What: We had the very cool boys night out this week! We had Dominos for dinner! That was the thing that really made me happy! Something really sad happened this morning! Me and Eyra had a fight over our job, fruit! We are back as friends now! It was fun this week. I was a  mediator yesterday.

So What: We learnt who can do the most hops on one foot in maths, because my maths question is: How many jumps can boys in room  15 do on one foot? We were finishing the cockroach posters.

Now What: The most important thing now on my to do list is to finish my work ALL THE TIME!!! I want to be on the wall of fame in our class all the time! I want to make the CO2 cars next term!

week 9 reflection Term 2

What: This week we made some flowers for art and we showed Rm 1 how to make posts on their blog, so they can make comments on their blog. We all finished our water towers finally! We really still want to make something for bp technology challenge.

So What: We learnt how to observationally draw flowers & CHEER FOR CARLTON AT RIPPA RUGBY! We learnt in writing about complex sentences. We did not learn anything in maths this week because we did not do maths this week! We are learning about listening in shared reading this week too.

Now what: We all have come down a level on our succes-o-meter this week because the effort put into work is astoundingly disappointing. I WANT TO BE A KING SO I HAVE TO PUT AN EFFORT INTO MY WORK!!!

Week 4 Reflection

What: This week we had some highs & lows in work finishing because to many people like Kahu hadn't finished their work and still had not finished their pastel, collage and book covers. We did not have a BP Technology Challenge. We had a IKAN test this week too.


So What: We learnt how to add a link list to our blogs & the Year 6's learnt how to send Email's to other people. We also learnt how to say 'how are you' in Maori. We learnt about writing different phone numbers in/on a piece of paper/book.

Now What: Come on Darian, Finish your work!!! I want to have a BP Technology challenge when we have to construct a go-cart out of cardboard, and Tape.
